Jensten Group purchases a new broker in Yorkshire

The Jensten Group has reached a critical milestone in its long-term plan to strategically expand its business operations with the purchase of Ravenhall Risk Solutions, a broker with headquarters in Leeds.

Ravenhall was created in 2006 by Director Neil Grimshaw, and since then, the company has garnered a reputation in the area as a reliable broker servicing consumers in both the commercial and individual sectors.

The firm has shown that it is committed to creating solutions for hazards that have historically been difficult to manage, such as the risks that are encountered by persons who operate in the equestrian industry and by operators of unmanned aerial aircraft.

Ravenhall’s success may be attributed, in part, to the company’s competence in specialized markets, which has also positioned them as a beneficial addition to the Jensten Group’s portfolio.

This partnership represents an expansion of the Group’s earlier purchase of Packetts, which is also situated in Yorkshire.

Both companies will keep their respective trademarks and office locations after the merger that will result in the formation of the Jensten regional company.

It is expected that Neil Grimshaw would collaborate closely with Marshall Sugden, the Managing Director of Packetts, in order to expand Jensten’s presence in the area and improve the company’s service offerings to clients.

The addition of Ravenhall’s Gross Written Premium (GWP) brings the overall GWP handled by the Jensten Group closer and closer to the remarkable sum of £350 million.

This exemplifies the Group’s large market presence and highlights the company’s capacity to meet a wide variety of insurance requirements across a number of different industries.

Not only does the purchase of Ravenhall Risk Solutions strengthen Jensten’s position in the Yorkshire area, but it also reaffirms the Group’s dedication to providing individualized insurance solutions and outstanding customer service.

The Jensten Group is in a position to significantly bolster its market position, extend its product offerings, and provide clients with an even better degree of support and coverage alternatives as a result of its use of the aggregate experience and resources of both Ravenhall and Packetts.

The Jensten Group is quite excited about the prospect of successfully completing this strategic purchase; however, the transaction is now awaiting regulatory clearance from the FCA.

The future contains great opportunities for increased client service, new risk solutions, and continuing expansion in the ever-changing environment of the insurance industry, all of which are made possible by the merger of Ravenhall into the Group.
